Manchester Central has been awarded the contract to deliver events and hospitality services at Manchester Airport’s Runway Visitor Park and Concorde Conference Centre.

The Manchester Central Team were recognised as ‘Best Operations Team – Venues’ at this year’s virtual Conference Awards.

In April, less than three weeks since work first started, the NHS Nightingale Hospital North West hospital officially opened in central Manchester, to provide care for hundreds of patients with Covid-19 from across the region.

Europe’s largest housing festival, CIH Housing’s annual conference and exhibition, has called Manchester Central it’s home since 2012.

Over 750 delegates from 38 different countries met at Manchester Central in September for the 15th International Congress of the Society for Melanoma Research (SMR), an event worth over £2m in economic value to the city. 

The British Council chose Manchester Central as the perfect place to promote British Education to representatives from around the world.

FinTech company Dynamic Planner responded to a growing demand to host an event outside of London by adding a Manchester leg to their annual conference.
